STAFFORD'S GEMINI PROGRAM COVER—SIGNED.

Postal envelope with an Orbit Covers cachet featuring images of all the Gemini astronauts. Cape Canaveral postmark dated November 11, 1966, the launch date of the last Gemini flight. The envelope is displayed between paragraphs of a Typed Letter Signed by Stafford.

With THOMAS P. STAFFORD'S signed provenance letter, reading: "The Gemini envelope displayed below comes from my personal collection. The envelope was postmarked on the launch date of Gemini 12—November 11, 1966. James Lovell and Buzz Aldrin made that flight. The Gemini Program developed and demonstrated the space flight techniques of rendezvous and docking, plus established that man could survive a 14 day space mission. These were all critical to enable the United States to land on the moon in 1969. I and three other Gemini astronauts have signed this cover—Gordon Cooper of Gemini 5, Wally Schirra of Gemini 6, and Gene Cernan of Gemini 9."
