MERCURY ATLAS 9 ORBITAL CHART—SIGNED.

"Mercury Orbit Chart MOC-6," color Earth map, Aeronautical Chart and Information Center, February 1963, 10½ x 35½ inches.

Signed chart plotting all the orbits of Gordon Cooper's MA-9 Faith 7 space flight. GORDON COOPER has inscribed along the lower margin: "The 22 orbits of Faith 7 – Gordon Cooper." Additionally, he has added "Launch, 15 May 63" near at the Cape Canaveral, Florida area and "Splashdown at 22-1 16 May 63" near the splashdown bull's eye just northeast of Midway Island in the Pacific Ocean.
