3 period distribution copies of typed reports distributed directly to Wally Schirra, each signed by SCHIRRA on the cover:
1. "MA-8/16 Astronaut Self-Debriefing," USS Kearsarge, October 4, 1962, 28 pp. A typescript of Schirra's voice recording made just after splashdown, describing the full details of his six orbit, 9 hour flight.
2. "Astronaut's Flight Report," 26 pp. Schirra's personal narrative of the Sigma 7 flight including launch, weightless flight, and re-entry in the earth's atmosphere.
3. "MA-8 Press Conference," Houston, Texas, October 7, 1962, 28 pp. A transcript of the NASA press conference with Schirra, NASA Administrator James Webb, MSC Director Robert Gilruth, and Public Affairs Officer John "Shorty" Powers.
Each 11 x 8 inches, stapled.
