EDGAR MITCHELL'S LARGE US FLAG FROM APOLLO 14.

Flown flag, silk, 11 x 17 inches, inscribed on the lower two white bars "Flown to the moon aboard Apollo 14 / Edgar Mitchell."

A particularly large flown flag. A signed provenance note by EDGAR MITCHELL states that it "was on board the Command Module Kitty Hawk, and spent over two days and eighteen hours in lunar orbit.... This flag has been in my personal collection since 1971."
