JFK APPOINTS WEBB AS NASA ADMINISTRATOR.

Document Signed ("John Kennedy" as President), Washington, February 9, 1961, partially printed and accomplished in manuscript, countersigned by Secretary of State Dean Rusk, being the appointment of James E. Webb as Administrator of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration, 470 x 570 mm, framed.

Kennedy appoints the man who would achieve his goal "of landing a man on the moon and returning him safely to the Earth."
