A pair of Meissen candelabra, late 19th century
Each on a spirally-moulded scrollwork foot rising to a scrollwork shaft encrusted with trailing flowers and applied with pairs of putti emblematic of the Seasons, heightened in gilding, pink and pale-green and painted with scattered flower sprigs, surmounted by a three-arm candelabrum applied with fruit and flowers and four sconces with foliate drip-trays, 49.8cm high, crossed swords marks in underglaze-blue, incised model numbers E.128 and E.129, impressed numerals, painter's numeral 22 in puce to both (some losses and minor repairs) (4)
