A Meissen group of lovers, 19th century

Probably after a model by M.V. Acier, modelled in the round with a central rockwork column surmounted by an urn with a cover picked out in gold, figures of a young man and woman hold garlands of flowers that hang from the urn's handles, at the centre a young boy perches on the rockwork base balancing a basket of flowers on his knee, the base finished with a neo-classical motif border in gold, 23.5cm high, crossed swords in underglaze-blue (finial glued and chips) (2)
