A Meissen group of children as Hercules and Omphale, late 19th century
After the 18th-century model, Hercules wearing the skin of the Nemean lion with his club at his side, Omphale holding a spindle, the base modelled with gilt-edged scrollwork, 12.5cm high, crossed swords mark in blue, incised model number 2377, impressed 126, painter's numeral 10 (minor restoration)
