A pair of Sèvres-style ormolu mounted vases, late 19th century

Decorated with a blue ground with two oval gilt scrollwork cartouches enclosing scenes of allegories of the virtues as young ladies, a Cupid at their side, the reverse with medallions of flowers, mounted in ormolu mounts with two handles shaped as winged caryatids at the sides, the domed covers with gilding and pine-cone finials, 51cm, pseudo Sèvres marks in blue (4)
