A pair of Paris Empire portrait vases, one with a Worcester replacement foot, circa 1820

Decorated in Prussian blue with moulded gilt portrait medallions, one representing the poet Byron, the handles modelled as griffins heads resting on bronze-coloured gilding, the reverse with elaborate formal flower and scrollwork ornaments, the bases with a lapis lazuli imitation, 28cm, the replacement foot by Flight, Barr and Barr with crowned FBB mark impressed (minor chips) (2)
