A Meissen plate, circa 1760
Moulded with the 'Marseille' pattern of floral cartouches around the rim and a border of flowers and shells around the well, painted with a large single bird in the well, the gilt-edged rim with exotic birds within the moulded cartouches and flower swags, 23.8cm diam., crossed swords mark in underglaze-blue, impressed 22
