A Meissen purple-ground two-handled ecuelle and cover, circa 1735
The ecuelle reserved with two large gilt-edged quatrelobe landscape scenes and applied with two pierced and gilt scrollwork handles, the cover with four similar landscape panels surmounted by a gilt foliate finial, gilt-edged rims, 25.6cm across handles, crossed swords mark in underglaze-blue (finial restored, large rim section including handle restuck) (2)
