A Meissen purple-ground rectangular tea canister and cover, circa 1735
Reserved with four quatrelobe panels painted with a hunting scene of two horsemen chasing a stag, and Kauffahrtei landscapes depicting merchants and their wares by a quayside, the shoulder edged in gold and painted with two sprigs of indianische Blumen, the circular cover with further Kauffahrtei landscapes with a gilt pinecone finial, 12.3cm high (2)
