A Meissen oval sugar box and cover, circa 1730

The cover with a gilt Fo-Dog finial, the box painted in polychrome enamels and underglaze-blue in Kakiemon style with flowers issuing from rockwork, floral band to rim of cover, 13.5cm across, crossed swords mark and indistinct painter's mark in underglaze-blue, incised W (cover restored) (2)
