A Meissen circular dish from the 'Gelber Löwe' service for the Saxon/Polish Court, circa 1740
Painted in Kakiemon style with a tiger curling around flowering bamboo opposite a flowering prunus tress, with scattered flower sprigs around the brown-edged rim, Royal Warsaw Court Pantry mark on the reverse, 19.9cm diam., crossed swords mark in underglaze-blue, impressed numbers, K[önigliche]. H[of]. C[onditorei]. W[arschau]. in purple, impressed 21
