A Meissen milk jug and a cover, circa 1735
Painted in Imari style in underglaze-blue and coloured enamels with flowers issuing from rockwork, a trellis border reserved with flower-heads to the rim, the cover similarly decorated, the handle with shell thumbpiece heightened in underglaze-blue, 12cm high, crossed swords mark and .K. in underglaze-blue, impressed Dreher's mark (for Johann Elias Grund) of four dots (flat chip to tip of spout, cover associated) (2)
