A Hannoverisch-Münden pewter-mounted faience tankard, third quarter 18th century

Painted with a chinoiserie scene depicting a seated figure holding a parasol over a standing companion, in front of a fence flanked by trees issuing from rockwork, manganese borders, blue-striped handle, the pewter cover incised 'HMGMM', 23cm high, ccc/ in blue (chip to footrim, typical minor losses)
