A very rare Lowestoft teapot and cover, circa 1790-95
Of Continental cylindrical form with a faceted spout, angular handle and a circular cover with twin lugs, retained within a high rim, painted in Redgrave style with the 'Two Bird' pattern in underglaze blue, red enamel and gilding, formal borders around the shoulder and on the rim of the cover, 12.7cm high (2)
