A Limehouse pickle dish, circa 1746-48
Moulded in the form of a scallop shell, painted in inky blue with a house on an island, dark mountain peaks in the distance, surrounded by Chinese feather and ribbon motifs, a shell flanked by two leaves below, trailing leaves to the underside, 10.2cm wide (broken and restored)
