A silver snuff box,

possibly by Ledsam and Vale, Birmingham 1825
oblong shaped, the lid with applied moulded thumb piece, engine turning and an erased rectangular cartouche, matching engraving to the base and with reeded sides, height 2cms, length 7.75, depth 4cm, weight 116gms, together with a small rectangular waisted box, by Matthew Linwood, Birmingham 1811, with an elevated field to the lid and base, the lid engraved with a presentation inscription on the left and Earl's coronet above a partially erased cypher, the word "to" in the centre and on the right a crest above a further partially erased cypher, gilt interior, height 2cm, length 5cm, depth 1.75cm, weight 26gms.
