A casket shaped snuff box

by Nathaniel Mills, Birmingham 1846
rectangular waisted and with applied floral scroll border raised by plain shoulders in from the edges of the lid, similar less bold mouldings to the top and bottom edges, the lid with a rectangular cartouche in an engine turned border, engraved with a crest within a circular strap and buckle motto above 'Mary Ring', the base engine turned with an applied foot wire within the plain shoulders, interior gilt, height 2.5cm, length 7.5cm, depth 4.75cm, weight 116gms.

Buyer's Premium Rates
23% on the Hammer Price
A 3rd party bidding platform fee of 4% of the Hammer Price for Buyers using the following bidding platforms will be added to the invoices of successful Buyers for auctions starting on or after 6th July 2024 – Invaluable; Live Auctioneers; The Saleroom; Lot-tissimo.
GST at the current rate of 10% will be added to the Buyer's Premium and charges.
