A Louis XVI brass mounted tortoisheshell Cartel bracket clock

with hour and half hour strike, the back plate signed 'J Gosselin, Paris'. The circular dial with panelled enamelled Roman numerals contained in a well shaped case with gilt metal mounts and tracery surmounted by a figural finial of the Archangel Gabriel. The bracket similarly decorated with applied mask head and inlaid scrolled radiating panels 86cm wide x 40cm deep x 87cm high, (34in wide x 16in deep x 34in high)

Buyer's Premium Rates
23% on the Hammer Price
A 3rd party bidding platform fee of 4% of the Hammer Price for Buyers using the following bidding platforms will be added to the invoices of successful Buyers for auctions starting on or after 6th July 2024 – Invaluable; Live Auctioneers; The Saleroom; Lot-tissimo.
GST at the current rate of 10% will be added to the Buyer's Premium and charges.
