A silver mounted Scottish mull in horn by Ferguson and MacBean of Inverness, Edinburgh,1890

the curved body of flattish section applied with interlacing ribbonwork enclosing applied crests of a stag and boar's head, below this section of scaled ivory appearance and terminating in a silver monster head. The hinged lid with an ivory band of in interlace ribbonwork surmounted by a silver open-work gallery enclosing a faceted carneleon. The interior section gilt, the body with two carrying rings for a band orf strap. curved33cm wide, (12.5" wide).
