A First Empire ormolu and marble mantel clock

the silvered Roman dial, with moon handles and cast bezel in the form of a serpent, the spring driven movement with anchor escapement, with outside countwheel strike on a bell, set within a kneeling bronze bare-breasted woman in Egyptian dress with a lion's mask, mounted on an ormolu and marble plinth, back of dial marked 'Lons 796', 16cm wide, 22cm deep, 48cm high (6in wide, 8.5in deep, 18.5in high).
