A First Empire period marble and ormolu mantel clock

L. Mallet a Paris
with hour and half hour strike, enamel dial, Arabic numerals contained in a figural case depicting knowledge/wisdom as a woman at a desk reading, mounted on a marble base on four tapering gilded feet, 30cm wide, 14cm deep, 34cm high (11.5in wide, 5.5in deep, 13in high).

23% on the Hammer Price
