The artist with painted head, features, hat and collar, hands and shoes, seated in front of his easel and holding a drawing stick, handle to base to operate cam that causes the artist's arm and head to move and produce a picture, two cams marked 'Gladstone' and 'Salisbury', sliding base marked J.W.B in shield, Joseph Walker & Co. brassfounders producing castings, syringes, stampings, trivets, plate stands and other items (G some rubbing to gold), 12.5cm (5in) tall.
