A well engineered 2 1/2in gauge model of the L.M.S. 4–6–0 locomotive and tender no 6100 'Royal Scot'

Backhead fittings include water and pressure gauges, safety, blower, clack valves and opening fire door. Chassis details include three cylinders with independent sets of Walschaert's valve gear, twin mechanical lubricators, eccentric driven feed pump, working leaf and coil springs, headlamp, bell and smoke deflector plates, front boiler door with plaque 'The Royal Scot', tender with hand feed pump, opening coal doors, steps and handrails, finished in LMS livery and lining and mounted on a display base and track with legend '2 1/2" gauge model of 6100 LMS locomotive 'Royal Scot'. Donated by the estate of the late Mrs C. Pollitt. 64.7cm (25 1/2in) long.
