An Italian Corseca Or Chauvre-Souris
Late 15th/Early 16th Century

With characteristic three-pronged head comprising a tapering triangular double-edged blade with narrow medial ridge along each side and short lug on both sides at the base, set between two similar but smaller blades each deeply cusped beneath, tapering faceted socket, and remains of side-straps, on later wooden haft of circular section (some light pitting)
60 cm. head
