A Mace In German Late 15th Century 'Gothic' Style
19th Century

Of bright iron, the head of six acutely pointed triangular flanges each showing copper brazing and with two blunt projections beneath, and surmounted by a spirally-fluted globular finial roped around the base, on tapering spirally-twist roped haft of circular section, and cord-bound leather-covered wooden grip between a disc-shaped hand-guard and rounded pommel
52.5 cm.
