The first with tapering russet barrel with sighting flat, chiselled with foliage at the breech and retained by three broad white-metal barrel bands (one slightly incomplete) each linked together, plain tang extending down the back of the butt, characteristic lock, Circassian walnut full stock, white-metal mounts comprising shaped side-plate and rounded pommel, button trigger, and no provision for a ramrod (finger-pad and suspension ring missing); the second each with plain iron barrel and tang, one barrel with silver-damascened decoration, engraved rounded locks (one action defective), figured full stocks inlaid with brass wire and pellets along the back of each butt, brass mounts, and no provision for ramrods (3)
