An Indian Iron Swivel Gun
17th Century

With tapering three-stage barrel with shallow rounded rings behind the slightly flared muzzle and at the breech in front of the touch-hole, a raised central band also forming the trunnions and chiselled with a line of flower-heads above, Y-shaped peg mount, and later straight wooden butt fluted along each side and secured by a nail through the tang (some pitting overall)
77.7 cm. barrel, 2.6 cm. bore, 122.5 cm. overall
