The first with curved single-edged blade (pitted), hilt comprising border engraved quillon-block decorated with a flower-head on each side, pointed langets, and rounded silver-covered grip (split) engraved with foliate borders, in original wooden scabbard covered in black leather (incomplete) with border engraved silver locket, deep chape and suspension mounts each chased with foliate decoration, the locket with beaded borders, the suspension mounts each with suspension ring; the second with curved single-edged blade, hilt comprising iron quillon-block with langets and button quillon terminals, engraved brass grip-strap secured by wire at the base, dark horn grips inlaid with pewter dots and each secured by three brass pins each with domed fluted head, and iron pommel-cap, in original wooden scabbard covered in black leather with iron mounts including silver-damascened chape, and two rings for suspension (some wear and rust patination) (2)
