Two Burmese Dhas
Early 20th Century

Each of characteristic form, with slightly curved single-edged blades each struck with a mark on one side at the forte, the hilts entirely covered in silver decorated with silver wire and filigree, and deeply fluted bud-shaped pommels each covered in silver, in original wooden scabbards entirely covered in silver decorated with filigree designs partly filled with polychrome enamel, on one more so than on the other, and each retaining its green woollen suspension cord and tassels (2)
