Of characteristic form, the first of large form with broad single-edged blade beaked at the point and fullered along the back on each side, brass mount at the forte cast and chased with foliage enriched with inlaid silver, rounded ivory grips stained brown, carved with foliage and set with a small silver foliate plate on each side, silver pommel-cap embossed and chased with symmetrical designs of foliage, and button finial, in original fluted two-piece wooden scabbard with curved foliate chape, and brass locket with filigree borders; the second of similar but smaller form, the blade set with foliate engraved brass panels on each side, the brass mount at the forte without silver inlay (scabbard slightly damaged) (2)
