In excavated condition, the barrel formed of a tube reinforced with five rings around it at intervals, a broader band carrying the trunnions, the breech riveted within a stirrup-shaped breeching, into which a separate mug-shaped chamber is secured with an iron wedge, and extended as a tiller of tapering circular section with rounded terminal (heavily rust patinated overall, V-shaped peg mount and one trunnion incomplete, some losses)
