A Continental Buff-Leather Waistcoat, And A Rare Continental Belt For A Hunting Sword
The First Probably 17th/18th Century, The Second Mid-18th Century

The first open down the front and held together by three groups of three knotted buff-leather buttons and loops, a further button and loop at the top, the front and back with deep pockets, and the borders throughout cut with close-set slotted decoration highlighted against an inner trim of slender brown leather; the second of brown leather faced in woven bullion threads (tarnished, some wear), the frog covered in green velvet front and back, and with adjustable brass buckle and clip (2)
The first 56.5 cm high.
