With flat double-edged blade of flattened hexagonal section widening over its entire length to the triangular point, long ricasso with downcurved pointed side-lugs, blackened iron hilt with incised decoration and comprising oval side-rings of diamond section each enclosing a scrolled fleur-de-lys, downcurved quillons en suite and each with three scrolls at the tip, tapering bottle-shaped grip with central moulding and entirely covered in blackened leather, and large plummet-shaped segmented pommel with incised decoration, in fine condition overall
