With tapering double-edged blade of flattened oval section incised with a running wolf mark on each side in front of the central fuller at the forte, the fuller stamped with a series of '+' marks, iron hilt comprising upcurved double shell-guard, the borders incised with 'X' marks, each shell of kidney shape and filled with a plate pierced and chased with foliage inhabited by birds, arms, quillon-block and straight flat quillons punched with trelliswork, the latter with rounded tips, globular pommel en suite, and grip bound with twisted iron wire (some wear and rust patination)
