With curved blade double-edged at the point and with narrow fuller along the back over most of its length on each side, hilt of slender rounded bars comprising heart-shaped side-ring filled with a plate pierced with small holes, joined to the pommel by an outer hand-guard corresponding to the knuckle-guard, each with double central swelling and linked together by a diagonal bar (inner thumb-ring missing), globular pommel with large button, and swelling grip bound with twisted brass wire between brass ferrules (some pitting overall)
