Footnotes

The greatly enlarged new edition Flora Londinensis has over 200 new plates not found in the first edition of 1775-1798, and the text updated by William Jackson Hooker, who also provided most of the plates for the entirely new volumes 4 and 5. Published between 1817 and 1828, it was resissued with new titles dated 1835.
