Collection of autograph letters etc., comprising sundry documents signed by George V and other members of the royal family (one jointly by Queen Mary, the future Edward VIII and Stanley Baldwin, on before of the King), with autograph letters etc. by Felix Powell (sending the Under Secretary at War "an autographed copy of 'Pack up your troubles in your old Kit-bag' which I am delighted to know will be placed in the Imperial War Museum"), Francis Brett Young (angling to secure the commission for writing up the East African Campaign), G.K. Chesterton, A.A. Milne, Robert Baden-Powell (on Boy Scouts paper), and others; with clipped signatures of Lloyd George, Foch, Haig (many), Allenby, Conan Doyle (autograph fragment – "If they carry on as well as their neighbours then it means that you have 200,000 more trained men for the summer fighting"), Ernest Rutherford, J.J.
