JUNG (CARL GUSTAV)

Autograph letter signed ("C.G. Jung"), in English, to Dr E.A. Bennet, congratulating him on his engagement and sending compliments to his fiancée, he also tells him that he enjoyed a visit from the Rev H.L. Philp even though the weather "is rather unpleasant just now" ("...I must still thank you about your letter of information concerning Rev Philp. It has been very helpful..."), one page, headed paper, small crease, 8vo, Küsnacht-Zürich, 29 April 1958

Footnotes

The English clergyman H.L. Philp had entered into extensive correspondence with Jung on the subject of religion and that year published – with a good deal of assistance from Jung himself – Jung and the Problem of Evil.
