With black infilled lettering and Broad Arrow stamp, includes a clapper and lanyard. 12x13ins. (30x31cm)

Footnotes

HMS Terpsichore was a T class Destroyer, built by
Denny of Dunbarton and commissioned in 1944. She joined the 24th Destroyer Flotilla in the Mediterranean took part in the invasion of Sicily and saw action in the Aegean before moving to the Pacific Theatre for the rest of the War. She was converted to a Frigate in 1954 and was broken up in 1966.
