A George III mahogany longcase clock probably East Coast of Scotland

The 13 inch painted dial with moon phase to the arch, Roman and Arabic chapter ring, subsidiary seconds and date dials within jewelled scrolling spandrels, the twin train movement striking a bell within an arched hood with swan-neck pediment and satinwood fret-work panels, above a shaped and moulded trunk door, within fluted pilasters on a cross-banded box base and bracket feet, 221cm high
