An 18th century basket hilted broadsword

The blade engraved with the badge of the Royal Scots, 77cm double edged blued blade decorated and gilt over half its length, engraved with the Royal Coat of Arms above a highland officer standing with sword drawn, the ricasso engraved with foliate designs, the opposite side engraved in a similar manner with crowned GR cypher above the Royal Scots motif, the basket hilt with two scallop shells, to C-shaped bars, tall bun shaped pommel with spiral turning, with fish skin covered grip.
