The 1864 Glasgow Champion Cup

Maker's mark rubbed, Glasgow 1864
On circular raised embossed foot, the pyriform jug body profusely embossed with flora and scroll decoration, the acanthus leaf scroll handle with ivory insulators, the finial formed as a flower head, engraved cartouche with presentation inscriptions to each side, height 34cm, weight 41.6oz.
