A George II silver bullet teapot

By David Mitchell, Edinburgh 1736
The spherical body chased around the shoulder with scrolls, shells and flowers and engraved with crest and motto, with silver leaf capped scroll handle, S-shaped spout, the flush lid with ball finial, height 15.5cm, weight 24oz.

Footnotes

The crest and motto is that of Hunter-Blair; Vigilantia, Robur, Voluptas, above a stags head.
