A Two-Hand Claidheamh Mor In Scottish Mid-16th Century Style
19th Century

With broad double-edged blade of flattened diamond section, rectangular ricasso, characteristic iron hilt comprising tapering downbent quillons of diamond section with pierced quatrefoil terminals, bluntly-pointed langets extending over the ricasso on each side, fluted fig-shaped pommel with blunt button, and wooden two-piece grip of circular section with medial iron band (light pitting overall)
