With russet barrel engraved and cut with longitudinal lines at the breech and retained by six silver barrel bands each cast and chased with scrolling foliage, scroll engraved tang and characteristic lock overlaid with silver panels, the latter set with two fluted red coral beads, full stock profusely inlaid with brass and green-stained horn roundels of geometric design against a ground of brass nails, flaring faceted segmented butt decorated en suite and retaining its original red velvet covering (moth damaged) with bullion borders (loose), and enriched around the lock and along the fore-stock with a diaper pattern of mother-of-pearl (some missing) with inlaid red pigment, fore-end plate en suite with the barrel bands, dark horn butt-plate, silver button trigger, and original iron ramrod (iron parts with some surface rust)
