A Very Rare Turko-Mongol 'Golden Hoard' Sword
13th/15th Century

In excavated condition, with slightly curved tapering blade double-edged towards the point, the forte on one side retaining much of its inlaid silver line decoration, quillons of drooping bow-tie form with pointed central langet on one side inlaid with silver line decoration en suite with the blade, and remains of curved tapering tang
